Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Concierge to join our luxury residential team in Vancouver. This role is crucial for delivering an unparalleled living experience to our residents, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring the highest standards of service and security. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism, working 12-hour shifts to provide continuous, high-level support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests warmly, providing assistance and information with a professional demeanor.
- Manage access control for the building, ensuring resident safety and security protocols are strictly followed.
- Handle incoming calls, mail, and packages, distributing them accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate various resident services, including booking amenities, arranging transportation, and managing maintenance requests.
- Monitor building security systems and respond to alarms or incidents appropriately, liaising with emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and resident requests.
- Act as a liaison between residents and property management, effectively communicating concerns and feedback.
- Provide local recommendations and concierge services, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Vancouver's amenities.
- Assist with move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
- Uphold the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness in the lobby and common areas.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality, residential concierge, or customer service role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software (e.g., Yardi, BuildingLink).
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Security License (if required by BC regulations, or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management or a related field.
- Fluency in additional languages is a strong asset.
- Experience with emergency response protocols and first aid certification.
- Familiarity with luxury residential building operations and amenities.
