Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in Plymouth. This role is open to candidates requiring sponsorship, demonstrating our commitment to attracting top global talent. As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions that meet our clients’ complex business requirements. You will lead technical discussions, provide architectural guidance, and ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects from conception through to deployment and beyond. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, including integrations, data migrations, and custom development.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to project teams on Salesforce best practices, security, and scalability.
- Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to architectural standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with new Salesforce releases, features, and products to advise on their applicability and impact.
- Mentor junior developers and technical team members.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Salesforce technology and strategy.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect on multiple large-scale implementations.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and API integrations (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Domain Architect certifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds such as Field Service, CPQ, or Einstein AI.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with global teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment.
