Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up packages using a company vehicle.
- Operate delivery vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and UPS safety guidelines.
- Handle packages with care and ensure timely delivery.
- Complete necessary paperwork and utilize handheld scanners for accurate delivery records.
- Provide excellent customer service to recipients during deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a delivery or customer service role (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with the New Port Richey, FL area.
- High school diploma or GED.
