Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Social Media Strategist with a deep understanding of Google’s advertising ecosystem to join our innovative team. This 100% remote role requires a professional who can not only craft compelling social media strategies but also meticulously track, analyze, and optimize performance with a strong focus on Google-related metrics and platforms (e.g., YouTube advertising, social signals impacting organic search, integration with Google Analytics, paid social leading to Google conversions). You will be instrumental in developing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes, increase brand visibility, and engage target audiences across various social channels, always with an eye on Google’s role in the broader digital landscape. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client business objectives, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing and ROI, especially in relation to Google's ecosystem.
  • Manage and optimize paid social campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) ensuring alignment with Google Ads strategies where applicable.
  • Analyze social media data, Google Analytics, and other performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and actively test and integrate new features, particularly those related to Google's evolving offerings.
  • Collaborate with SEO, SEM, and content teams to ensure integrated digital marketing efforts and leverage social signals for improved Google search visibility.
  • Develop engaging content strategies and oversee content creation for various social channels.
  • Provide regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Stay current with Google algorithm changes, ad policies, and best practices that impact social media performance and measurement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns across major platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in social media analytics tools and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and how social media integrates with broader Google performance marketing efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Proficiency in content strategy and storytelling for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads certification (Search, Display, Video).
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency setting.
