Job Description
Are you ready to make a tangible impact and work outdoors? ADT Solar is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Solar Panel Cleaning Crew in Wichita, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy physical work, value teamwork, and are committed to maintaining the efficiency and longevity of solar energy systems. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring solar panels are spotless and operating at peak performance, directly contributing to our mission of providing sustainable energy. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently clean solar panels on residential and commercial properties using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Inspect panels for visible damage, defects, or operational issues while performing cleaning duties.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, procedures, and industry regulations for working at heights and with equipment.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and company vehicles in excellent working condition, reporting any malfunctions or damage promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site when necessary, representing ADT Solar with integrity.
- Accurately complete all required job-related documentation and reports.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, cold, sun, etc.).
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, including on roofs, ladders, and elevated platforms, with proper safety equipment.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor labor, construction, general cleaning, or solar panel maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of solar panel systems and their operation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
