Job Description
Join Target as an Evening Team Member and play a crucial role in ensuring our store is ready for the next day. This part-time position is perfect for students seeking flexible evening hours, with shifts concluding by 9 pm daily. You’ll be responsible for stocking shelves, assisting guests, maintaining store cleanliness, and preparing the store for closing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain retail experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is accurately displayed and priced.
- Assisting guests with finding products and providing excellent customer service.
- Operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of sales floor and backroom areas.
- Assisting with inventory management and product rotation.
- Preparing the store for closing, including light cleaning and securing merchandise.
- Adhering to all safety and security procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work evening shifts, concluding by 9 pm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
- Familiarity with store operations and layout.
