Job Description

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Student Event Ushers to join our dynamic team for concerts and sports events across our venues in the Sugar House and greater Salt Lake City area. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the excitement, gain valuable experience, and work in a fun, fast-paced environment. As an Usher, you will be the face of our events, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a lively atmosphere and enjoy interacting with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct guests to their seats, restrooms, and other venue amenities.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with guest needs.
- Monitor assigned sections for safety hazards, crowd control issues, and policy violations.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, as directed by event management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all attendees.
- Collaborate with security and other event staff to ensure smooth event operations.
- Be knowledgeable about event specifics, venue layout, and local attractions to assist guests.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and navigate stairs.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events require.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-related roles.
- Familiarity with concert or sports venue environments.
- Ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
- First Aid or CPR certification is a plus.
