Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a flexible work-from-home opportunity? Rev.com is seeking Freelance Captioning Agents to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for Stay-at-Home Moms or anyone needing to balance work with personal commitments, offering the ultimate flexibility to work on your own schedule. As a Captioning Agent, you will listen to audio and video content and accurately type what is said, adding speaker identification and sound effects. Key Responsibilities
- Listen to audio and video recordings and accurately type spoken content.
- Synchronize typed text with audio/video to create precise captions.
- Identify different speakers in the audio/video.
- Add non-speech elements (e.g., [LAUGHTER], [MUSIC]) where appropriate.
- Adhere to Rev.com's style guidelines and quality standards.
- Manage workload and deliver captions within designated deadlines.
- Utilize Rev.com's proprietary platform for captioning tasks.

- Excellent listening comprehension and attention to detail.
- Proficient typing speed and accuracy.

- Prior experience in transcription, captioning, or data entry is a plus, but not required.
