Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Student Online Assistant to join our remote team. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic online environment. Your primary focus will be on supporting various online administrative and content-related tasks, with absolutely no phone calls involved. You will contribute to the smooth operation of our digital learning resources and assist in maintaining the quality of our educational content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and content organization across various digital platforms.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on course materials and online resources.
  • Moderate online discussion forums and ensure adherence to community guidelines (no direct customer support via phone).
  • Help prepare and format digital documents and presentations.
  • Conduct research to support content development and updates.
  • Manage and update online databases with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed, strictly online.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new online tools quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an online administrative or assistant role.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, or Blackboard.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Basic understanding of data analysis or report generation.
  • Majoring in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
