Job Description
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Summer Hotel Housekeepers at various resort locations. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens according to hotel standards.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and common restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to supervisors promptly.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a polite and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring a consistent supply of clean linens.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
