Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Travel Itinerary Curator with a strong focus on Pinterest to join our dynamic tourism marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and curating visually stunning and inspiring travel itineraries specifically designed for the Pinterest platform. Your expertise will drive engagement, attract new audiences, and convert interest into bookings for various destinations and travel experiences. This position requires a deep understanding of Pinterest trends, travel content strategies, and audience engagement techniques within the tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate compelling travel itineraries, experiences, and destination guides optimized for Pinterest.
- Design visually appealing Pinterest boards and pins using high-quality imagery, videos, and graphic design principles.
- Conduct thorough research on travel trends, popular destinations, and emerging experiences to inform content creation.
- Write engaging and SEO-friendly pin descriptions, titles, and board descriptions to maximize visibility and searchability.
- Monitor Pinterest analytics to track performance, identify successful content, and inform future content strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with broader campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest algorithm changes, new features, and best practices.
- Engage with the Pinterest community, respond to comments, and foster a strong brand presence.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion and partnerships with relevant travel influencers or brands on Pinterest.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media content creation, specifically with Pinterest for business.
- Strong understanding of Pinterest algorithms, analytics, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Excellent visual storytelling and graphic design skills (proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
