Job Description
Join the UPS team in Virginia Beach as a Weekend Container Unloader! This part-time role is perfect for individuals looking for consistent weekend work involving manual labor and a direct payout structure. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe unloading of freight from containers, ensuring proper handling and organization of packages within our facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team during peak weekend hours. Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload various types of freight and packages from shipping containers.
- Sort and stage packages according to company procedures for further processing.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
