Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Gutter Debris Loader to join our dynamic team. This is an outdoor, hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working outside and don’t mind physical labor. As a Gutter Debris Loader, you will be crucial in assisting our gutter cleaning and repair crews by safely and efficiently removing accumulated debris from gutters and surrounding areas, ensuring clean and functional drainage systems for our clients. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely climb ladders and access roofs to clear gutters of leaves, mud, branches, and other debris.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment for debris removal.
- Assist gutter technicians with setup and breakdown of equipment on job sites.
- Transport debris to designated disposal areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support the crew.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable with heights and working on ladders and roofs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor labor, construction, or landscaping.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Fall protection certification (training can be provided).
