Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to join our e-commerce team in Whistler. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our guests. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of product listings, content updates, and various Shopify functionalities. This is a full-time, on-site position with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with no overtime required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all product listings on our Shopify e-commerce platform, including descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Implement content updates, promotions, and campaign assets across the Shopify store as directed by marketing and merchandising teams.
- Configure and troubleshoot Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement in collaboration with development and design teams.
- Assist with order fulfillment queries, customer service escalations related to online orders, and return processing within Shopify.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to visual guidelines across all digital storefront elements.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and functionality of the website.
- Stay informed about Shopify updates, new features, and best practices to continually optimize our online presence.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify e-commerce store.
- Proficiency with Shopify's administrative interface and core functionalities.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and liquid templating for minor theme adjustments.
- Experience with product data management and inventory synchronization.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Previous experience in retail or apparel industry.
- Experience integrating third-party applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, marketing automation).
