Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hairstylist Assistant to join our vibrant team in Toronto. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about the beauty industry, eager to learn, and looking to grow their career within a high-end salon environment. As a Hairstylist Assistant, you will be crucial in ensuring our clients receive a luxurious and comfortable experience, primarily focusing on shampooing, conditioning, and toning services, while supporting our senior stylists. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional shampooing, conditioning, and scalp massage services for clients.
- Assist senior stylists with hair toning applications and rinsing procedures.
- Prepare clients for services, including caping, providing refreshments, and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area, styling stations, and overall salon.
- Sanitize tools and equipment according to salon hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry duties, including towels and capes.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of salon products.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting clients warmly and ensuring their needs are met.
- Support stylists with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth salon operations.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
