Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pinterest Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Pinterest Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Pinterest presence, helping to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to our website. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and curation of engaging visual content (Pins, Idea Pins) tailored for the Pinterest platform.
- Schedule and publish Pins consistently across various boards and campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize Pin descriptions, titles, and tags for discoverability.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to inform content strategy.
- Track and report on Pinterest performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Engage with the Pinterest community, respond to comments, and foster brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align Pinterest content with overall marketing goals and promotions.
- Maintain an organized content calendar and asset library for Pinterest.
- Support ad-hoc social media and marketing tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using the Pinterest platform for business.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and online retail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing social media accounts, particularly Pinterest, for a brand or business.
- Experience with Pinterest analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of other social media scheduling tools (e.g., Tailwind, Hootsuite).
- A degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Understanding of SEO principles for social media.
