Job Description
Join our team as an Evening Game Support Specialist and be the first point of contact for players worldwide. This entry-level, fully remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, providing crucial assistance to gamers during evening hours. You’ll be responsible for resolving player inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a positive gaming experience across various titles. Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and accurate support to players via email, chat, and potentially phone, during evening shifts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues, in-game bugs, and account-related problems.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or relevant development teams when necessary.
- Educate players on game features, mechanics, and best practices.
- Document player interactions and solutions accurately in the support system.
- Monitor game forums and community channels for trending issues and player sentiment.
- Adhere to company policies and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality support.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with game updates and support tools.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with navigating various software applications.
- Passion for video games and familiarity with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Ability to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday.
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience (even non-gaming related).
- Familiarity with common customer support software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
- Experience playing online multiplayer games.
- Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
