Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in and successfully complete all paid training programs provided.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Process prescription requests, including data entry and insurance billing.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns with empathy.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workstation.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and processing returns.
- Adhere to all legal and company policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations and patient privacy (HIPAA).
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience in any field
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
- Familiarity with medical terminology (not required, but a plus)
