Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Bulk Warehouse Associate with a heavy industrial focus to join our dynamic team in Costa Mesa, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of large and heavy industrial products and materials. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload heavy industrial materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy lifting equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming bulk materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging for heavy items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and update records.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding and commitment to industrial safety procedures and practices.
- Basic computer literacy for using warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding industrial environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in a heavy industrial warehouse or distribution center.
- Forklift certification (stand-up and sit-down).
- Experience with RF scanners and modern warehouse technology.
- Knowledge of electrical, communication, or data networking products.
