Job Description
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Policy Writing Assistant to join our growing public policy team in Fremont, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about public policy and keen to develop expertise in professional white paper drafting. You will play a crucial role in supporting our policy initiatives by conducting research, assisting with the drafting of policy documents, and contributing to strategic communications. This entry-level position is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship in the art of crafting influential white papers and policy briefs for a global leader in sustainable technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on various policy issues, regulatory frameworks, and market trends relevant to Tesla's mission in automotive, energy, and AI.
- Assist in the drafting, editing, and formatting of white papers, policy briefs, reports, presentations, and other policy-related communications.
- Verify facts, data, and citations to ensure accuracy and credibility of all written materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, legal counsel, and other internal teams to gather necessary information and insights.
- Support the coordination and review process for external policy submissions and stakeholder engagements.
- Maintain an organized repository of research materials and policy documents.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance white paper drafting and policy analysis skills.
