Job Description
Are you passionate about thrifting and have a keen eye for detail? Goodwill Industries of Northern Nevada is seeking a dedicated and discreet Secret Shopper to evaluate the quality of our retail operations. In this unique role, you will visit our thrift stores, anonymously assess various aspects of the shopping experience, from store presentation and customer service to inventory quality and pricing accuracy. Your feedback will be instrumental in helping us maintain high standards, ensure a positive experience for our customers, and ultimately support our mission of changing lives through the power of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Anonymously visit assigned Goodwill retail locations within the Reno area.
- Evaluate store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Assess the quality, variety, and pricing of merchandise.
- Observe and report on customer service interactions, including staff helpfulness and responsiveness.
- Verify compliance with operational procedures and promotional displays.
- Complete detailed evaluation reports promptly and accurately after each visit.
- Provide constructive feedback and actionable insights to improve store performance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all shopping assignments and findings.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to blend in as a typical customer.
- Reliable transportation to visit various store locations.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications for report submission.
