Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional in Engineering, Construction & Architecture for our Billings, Montana team. This role offers visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates. You will be instrumental in project planning, design, and execution from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget, schedule, and safety standards on diverse and impactful construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to develop project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and potential challenges.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions and ensure structural integrity.
- Review architectural drawings and construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to verify work meets established standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as needed.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, or architectural project roles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and structural principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering or construction field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Architect registration.
- Experience with LEED certification processes or sustainable construction practices.
- Knowledge of local Montana building codes and regulations.
- Experience in a variety of project types (e.g., commercial, healthcare, public works).
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
