Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pinterest Legal Inquiry Evaluator with a strong focus on legal technology to join our growing team in Katy, TX. In this role, you will be at the forefront of evaluating and processing a variety of legal inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will leverage cutting-edge legal tech tools to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our legal operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently evaluate, categorize, and process incoming legal inquiries, including subpoenas, court orders, data requests, and user complaints.
- Utilize and help optimize legal technology platforms and tools to manage cases, track progress, and generate reports.
- Conduct initial legal research and data analysis to support the response process for various legal matters.
- Collaborate closely with internal legal counsel, privacy, and trust & safety teams to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Maintain meticulous records of all inquiries and responses, ensuring data integrity and compliance with record-keeping policies.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement in inquiry evaluation processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Assist in training new team members on legal inquiry evaluation procedures and legal tech tools.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations and Pinterest's terms of service and community guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal operations, paralegal, or data processing role, preferably within a tech company.
- Demonstrated understanding of legal processes, legal terminology, and data privacy principles.
- Proficiency in using legal technology software, case management systems, or similar analytical tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to review complex information and make sound judgments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interactions with legal professionals and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
- Familiarity with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Certification in legal technology or paralegal studies.
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
