Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to our student community. This remote, part-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and helping students manage their academic and personal lives more efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring students have seamless access to resources and support, handling a variety of administrative tasks to keep them on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize student schedules, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Respond to student inquiries via email and chat, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Assist with document creation, formatting, and organization (e.g., study guides, project outlines).
  • Conduct online research to find relevant academic resources or information for students.
  • Coordinate communication between students and Chegg support teams or tutors.
  • Maintain digital files and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed to support student success initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role (can be academic or professional).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, especially in an educational context.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms and student information systems.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting a diverse student population.
