Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Excel Pivot Table Specialist with a strong focus on data cleaning for a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights using advanced Excel functionalities, primarily Pivot Tables. Your expertise in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, enhancing data quality, and developing robust reporting solutions will be critical to supporting various business functions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex Excel Pivot Tables for various reporting and analytical needs.
• Perform thorough data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure data integrity and accuracy across diverse datasets.
• Develop and implement efficient data collection and processing methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Automate routine data tasks using Excel formulas, functions, and potentially basic VBA scripts.
• Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports using Pivot Tables and charts.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting structures.
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as requested by stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.)
• Mastery of Excel Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts for data aggregation and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with remote teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in creating compelling data visualizations within Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction.
• Basic understanding of VBA for Excel automation.
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
