Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled IV Hydration Nurse to join our team at The DRIPBaR in Elk Grove. As an IV Hydration Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective intravenous vitamin therapy and hydration services to our valued clients. This role requires an individual with excellent clinical skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a wellness lounge setting. You will educate clients on the benefits of our various drips, administer IVs, monitor clients during treatment, and maintain a clean and professional environment. Your ability to build rapport and ensure a comfortable experience is key to our client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IV drips and injections safely and efficiently according to established protocols.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, explain treatment options, and obtain informed consent.
- Monitor clients during and after IV therapy for any adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
- Educate clients on the benefits, ingredients, and post-care instructions for various IV drips.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Manage and prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is sterilized.
- Collaborate with the wellness team to provide a seamless and positive client experience.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist in sales and promotion of membership packages and retail products.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IV insertion and venipuncture.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a spa, wellness center, or aesthetic clinic setting.
- Previous experience with IV hydration therapy.
- Experience with phlebotomy.
- Knowledge of vitamin therapies and their benefits.
