Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Master Data Verifier to join our Enterprise Database Management team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our master data across various enterprise systems. You will play a pivotal part in maintaining high-quality data that supports strategic decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of data governance principles. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular audits and validations of master data elements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with data owners and business units to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures for master data.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and report on data integrity issues and resolutions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of master data management (MDM) documentation.
  • Participate in data migration and integration projects, ensuring data quality throughout the process.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on master data processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data verification and management workflows.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience with data quality tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere MDM).
  • Familiarity with financial industry data standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data manipulation and automation.
