Job Description
ExecuCar is seeking a highly skilled and professional Luxury Crossover Driver to join our elite team in Santa Maria, CA. This versatile, all-season role requires an individual with exceptional driving abilities, a strong commitment to customer service, and the capability to safely operate luxury crossover vehicles in diverse weather conditions. You will be responsible for transporting clients in comfort and style, adhering to strict schedules, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle presentation and client discretion. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations using company-provided luxury crossover vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to schedules and routes, utilizing navigation systems effectively to ensure punctuality.
- Assist clients with luggage and provide courteous, professional service at all times.
- Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the assigned vehicle to ExecuCar's exacting standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Operate vehicles safely and confidently in various weather conditions, including rain, fog, and potential light snow (seasonally relevant).
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain client confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide local insights and assistance to clients as requested, acting as a knowledgeable local ambassador.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (or equivalent)
- Pristine driving record with no at-fault accidents or major violations in the past 5 years
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (chauffeur, limousine, or executive transport preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to operate luxury vehicles with precision and care
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong geographical knowledge of Santa Maria and the wider Central Coast region
- Ability to use GPS and navigation software proficiently
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a luxury chauffeur or private driver for high-net-worth individuals
- Advanced defensive driving certification
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, French)
- Familiarity with local airports (e.g., SMX, SBA) and private FBOs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
