Job Description
Join Expedia Group as an Inbound Remote Booking Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in the travel industry with a global leader. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their travel bookings and inquiries entirely through inbound channels – no outbound sales calls are required. We offer comprehensive paid training to ensure you have all the knowledge and tools to succeed. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer calls and inquiries efficiently and professionally regarding travel bookings and services.
- Assist customers with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages using our proprietary booking systems.
- Provide accurate information about travel destinations, products, and services.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns with empathy and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Process changes, cancellations, and special requests in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and meet service quality standards.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and transactions.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and navigating multiple software applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment.
- Familiarity with the travel industry or a passion for travel.
- Experience with booking systems or CRM software.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., French, Spanish) are a plus.
