This part-time position offers flexible hours designed to accommodate your academic schedule, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world hospital setting. Key Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses (RNs) with patient care activities, including but not limited to vital sign collection, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and feeding.
• Document patient observations, care provided, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform basic nursing skills under the direct supervision of an RN, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and your scope of practice as a student.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in an accredited BSN or ADN nursing program.
• Successful completion of at least one clinical rotation (e.g., Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a Nurse Aide/Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting (volunteer or paid).
• Strong academic record in nursing coursework.
• Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (e.g., 2 shifts per week).
