Job Description
Are you a social media enthusiast with a passion for creating engaging content across platforms like TikTok and YouTube? Do you spend your free time online, understanding trends and viral content? Media.Monks is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Google TikTok Content Assistant to join our remote team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their career in digital media and content creation, working with leading brands to develop compelling online presences. You will support our content strategists and creators, ensuring our campaigns resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Google and TikTok trends, hashtags, and viral content to identify opportunities for brand engagement.
- Assist in brainstorming and developing creative concepts for TikTok videos and other short-form content.
- Research and gather visual and audio assets (music, sound effects, stock footage) suitable for TikTok content.
- Help schedule and publish content across various social media platforms, primarily TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Support content performance analysis by tracking metrics and compiling reports on engagement, reach, and other key KPIs.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and strategists to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices on TikTok, Google algorithms, and other relevant platforms.
- Provide general administrative support to the content team as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TikTok's platform, features, and content trends.
- Excellent research skills, particularly for identifying trending topics and content ideas.
- Proficiency in basic social media scheduling tools and analytics (e.g., Creator Studio, TikTok Analytics).
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- High level of creativity and attention to detail.
- Basic photo/video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, in-app TikTok editor) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing a personal or brand TikTok account with demonstrable engagement.
- Familiarity with Google trends and basic SEO principles for content optimization.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
