Job Description
Are you a TikTok aficionado with a keen eye for viral trends and a passion for entertainment? Digitas is seeking a highly motivated and creative Netflix TikTok Content Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of engaging TikTok content strategies for one of our premier entertainment clients, Netflix. You’ll work closely with content strategists, creative teams, and client representatives to ensure our TikTok presence is fresh, relevant, and captivating. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level professional to dive deep into the world of social media marketing and contribute to a global brand’s digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor TikTok trends, challenges, and emerging features relevant to the entertainment industry and Netflix's brand.
- Assist in brainstorming, researching, and developing innovative TikTok content ideas and campaigns.
- Support the scheduling, posting, and optimization of TikTok content.
- Track and analyze TikTok content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams (designers, videographers) to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Stay informed about TikTok algorithm changes and best practices to maximize content reach and engagement.
- Conduct competitive analysis of other entertainment brands on TikTok.
- Participate in client meetings and content review sessions, providing input and taking notes.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding and active daily use of the TikTok platform and its unique culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, in-app TikTok editor, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing a TikTok account for a brand, personal brand, or community.
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry, particularly streaming services and content trends.
- Experience with content management systems or social media scheduling tools.
- A portfolio showcasing creative social media content or campaigns (even personal projects).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
