Job Description
Sparrow Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractor to join our integrated healthcare team in Lansing, Michigan. As a Chiropractor within our system, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care, enhancing patient well-being, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic health solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including health history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of chiropractic techniques.
- Perform spinal adjustments and other manual therapies to correct musculoskeletal imbalances.
- Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in chiropractic care and participate in continuous professional development.
- Manage patient scheduling and office flow efficiently.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Chiropractor in Michigan.
- Demonstrated experience in a chiropractic practice, ideally at least 2 years post-licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in various chiropractic adjustment techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certifications in specific chiropractic modalities or advanced techniques.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Arabic) to serve our diverse patient population.
