Job Description

This is a full-time, 100% remote position where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our beloved franchises. We are offering a generous sign-on bonus for this exciting opportunity! As a Mass Effect Playtester, you will be on the front lines, diving deep into our game titles, identifying bugs, testing features, and providing invaluable feedback to our development teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and systematic testing of Mass Effect game features, systems, and content.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies using internal bug tracking software.
  • Provide detailed and constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, narrative elements, and overall player experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with quality assurance (QA) engineers, developers, and designers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Verify bug fixes and regressions to confirm issues have been resolved.
  • Adhere to established testing protocols and methodologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content and information.

Required Skills

  • Profound passion for video games, particularly the Mass Effect franchise and RPG genre.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and test plans meticulously.
  • Basic familiarity with PC gaming hardware and software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in game testing or quality assurance (QA).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
