Job Description
Blacklane is seeking a highly professional and experienced Charter Limo Driver with a primary focus on long-distance trips to join our elite team in Georgetown, Washington D.C. If you possess an impeccable driving record, a deep understanding of luxury client service, and a passion for providing safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation across significant distances, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate luxury vehicles for scheduled long-distance charter trips, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, offering amenities, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey.
- Maintain the vehicle's interior and exterior to Blacklane's high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Utilize navigation systems effectively to plan optimal routes, avoid traffic, and ensure efficient travel.
- Manage trip logs, mileage, and other administrative tasks accurately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, upholding Blacklane's premium brand image.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur or commercial driving experience, with a focus on long-distance routes.
- Possession of a valid Class A, B, or C driver's license with a Passenger Endorsement (if required by local regulations) and a clean driving record (no major infractions or accidents in the past 5 years).
- Proven ability to navigate complex routes using GPS and real-time traffic information.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a diverse fleet of luxury sedans, SUVs, and vans (e.g., Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Cadillac Escalade).
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- Extensive knowledge of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and surrounding regions, including major airports and intercity routes.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
