Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages on assigned routes.
- Scan and log packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload packages efficiently and carefully.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Process paperwork and handle cash/payment transactions as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route status and issues.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 75 lbs (with assistance for heavier items).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of New Orleans area roadways or ability to quickly learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in package delivery, courier services, or commercial driving.
- Familiarity with handheld scanning devices and logistics software.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
