Job Description
Join our team as a Vegetable Harvester for daily assignments supporting various agricultural operations, including those contributing to the ‘Lincolnshire Farms’ network. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the food supply chain, and gain valuable experience in the agricultural industry. You will be responsible for the efficient and careful harvesting of a variety of vegetables, ensuring quality standards are met for distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently harvest a variety of vegetables by hand or using basic tools.
- Follow specific harvesting instructions for different crop types and ensure produce meets quality standards.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment in the fields.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to the team leader promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and farm policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for daily assignments.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
