Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-time Salon Stock Controller to join our thriving Rush Hair & Beauty salon in Portsmouth. This crucial organizational role involves managing the salon’s inventory of hair products, tools, and supplies to ensure smooth operations and optimal stock levels. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and monitoring all stock, playing a vital part in the salon’s efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing stock, including professional products, retail items, and salon supplies.
  • Perform regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy stockroom, ensuring all products are correctly stored and easily accessible.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify reorder points to prevent shortages and overstocking.
  • Place orders with suppliers, track deliveries, and resolve any issues with incorrect or damaged goods.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the salon manager and team to understand product needs and sales trends.
  • Process product returns and exchanges efficiently.
