Job Description
Are you passionate about creating a welcoming and serene environment? Hilton San Jose is seeking a dedicated Spa Attendant to join our exceptional health club team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in hospitality and wellness, with no prior experience required. You will be instrumental in ensuring our spa and health club facilities are pristine, comfortable, and well-stocked, contributing directly to an elevated guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all spa and health club areas, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, fitness center, and relaxation lounges.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide directions, and offer towels, water, and other amenities with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ensure all spa linens, towels, and supplies are well-stocked and readily available for guests and therapists.
- Monitor facility usage, replenish amenities, and report any maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Support the spa team in various daily operations, contributing to a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide outstanding guest service.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of spa services or health club operations.
- CPR and First Aid certification (training can be provided).
