Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our growing team in Burbank, CA. This role offers competitive local wages with a performance review after 6 months for potential wage adjustments. As an HHA, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with clients and their families, following a personalized care plan developed by our clinical team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, tidying living areas, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with safe transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as instructed by the care plan.
  • Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.

Required Skills

  • Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in California.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a home care or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience with memory care or chronic disease management.
  • Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Armenian).
