Job Description

The CIUSSS de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. No prior experience is required! We offer comprehensive, paid training and will fully support you in obtaining your Care Certificate. You will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or within our facilities, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow care plans diligently and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Preferred Qualifications
