Job Description

As a FedEx Compliance Clerk with a Regulatory Focus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all operational activities within our Boulder facility adhere to local, state, federal, and international regulations. This office-based position involves meticulous record-keeping, document preparation, and close collaboration with various departments to maintain compliance standards across all FedEx services. You will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to legal and ethical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and reports to various government agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related activities, permits, and licenses.
  • Monitor changes in relevant regulations and communicate updates to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal audits of documentation and procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, legal, and safety teams to implement and enforce compliance best practices.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies or internal departments regarding compliance matters.
  • Support the training and education of staff on compliance procedures and regulatory changes.
  • Manage and organize digital and physical compliance files and databases.

Required Skills

  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory compliance principles (e.g., DOT, OSHA, IATA) or willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or compliance support role, preferably within logistics or transportation.
  • Familiarity with FedEx operational procedures and systems.
  • Experience with document management systems.
