Job Description
Join our team as a Farm Camp Picker and become an essential part of our harvest operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work outdoors in a vibrant, social environment, contributing directly to bringing fresh produce to tables across the country. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy physical work and teamwork. This position includes board, providing a comfortable and convenient living arrangement during your tenure with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and harvest various crops according to quality standards and guidelines.
- Pack harvested produce into designated containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the fields.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Operate basic farm equipment as needed, following training and safety protocols.
- Assist with other general farm duties as required during non-picking times.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality control.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or similar outdoor manual labor.
