Job Description
Are you passionate about building positive online communities and ensuring a safe space for dialogue? Hootsuite is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Remote Facebook Group Admin to manage and moderate our growing community groups. This vital role involves actively monitoring discussions, enforcing community guidelines, and fostering an engaging environment for our users. You’ll be the frontline ambassador of our brand, ensuring interactions are respectful, constructive, and align with our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor Facebook group posts, comments, and member activity on a daily basis.
- Enforce community guidelines and policies consistently and fairly.
- Approve or decline new member requests and pending posts based on established criteria.
- Remove inappropriate content, spam, and disruptive behavior promptly.
- Respond to member inquiries and facilitate discussions to encourage engagement.
- Identify and report potential risks or trends within the community to the broader team.
- Collaborate with the marketing and support teams to address member feedback and concerns.
- Stay informed about Facebook platform updates and best practices for group management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Facebook group administration or moderation.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to make quick, impartial decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics and best practices.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially Facebook.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
