Key Responsibilities
- Assist in optimizing Google's global supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Participate in projects aimed at implementing new technologies and best practices in supply chain management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for supply chain processes and procedures.
- Support the resolution of operational issues and logistics challenges in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in operations, supply chain, or logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with project management techniques.
