Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Industrial Warehouse Laborer to join our dynamic team in Torrance, CA. This role is crucial to our daily operations, involving a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual loading and unloading of freight, safely and efficiently.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, sorting, and relocating items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Commitment to safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
