Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Logistics Specialist with a strong focus on autonomous technology to join our innovative team. This 100% remote role involves optimizing our global fleet operations by integrating and managing autonomous vehicle technologies, ensuring efficiency, safety, and scalability. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of UPS logistics, working at the forefront of automation and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating autonomous vehicles into existing logistics workflows.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of autonomous fleet assets, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to test, validate, and deploy new autonomous technologies.
- Manage data analytics related to autonomous fleet operations, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies for autonomous vehicle deployment.
- Conduct market research on emerging autonomous technologies and competitive landscapes to inform future investments.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on new autonomous systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain robust communication channels with technology partners and vendors.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in fleet logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle technology and its applications in logistics.
