Job Description
Are you a vigilant and proactive individual looking for an exciting security role? G4S is seeking dedicated Film Set Location Security personnel to safeguard our film production sites during overnight shifts in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes in the dynamic film industry, ensuring the safety and security of valuable equipment, sets, and personnel. You will play a crucial role in maintaining an uninterrupted and secure environment for creative projects. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of film set locations, checking for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or potential hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to detect and respond to security breaches.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals entering and exiting the set.
- Protect valuable film equipment, props, and set pieces from theft or damage.
- Respond effectively to any security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with film crew and production staff to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies on site.
Required Skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Good physical fitness for patrolling and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for overnight shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and monitoring systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
- Previous experience in security, preferably on film sets or event security.
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
