Job Description
Are you a creative powerhouse with a deep love for music and a knack for trending social media content? Spotify is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music App Content Creator to join our remote team, specifically focusing on developing engaging short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in amplifying our brand’s presence, showcasing new music, artists, and app features through innovative and shareable video formats. You’ll work at the intersection of music, technology, and pop culture, creating content that resonates with millions of users and helps shape the future of audio discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit compelling short-form video content specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, sounds, and challenges on TikTok and Reels, adapting them to Spotify's brand voice and objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing, artist & label relations, and product teams to highlight new releases, app features, and campaigns.
- Develop content strategies to increase engagement, followership, and brand awareness across target social platforms.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools to refine future content strategies and optimize for reach and impact.
- Ensure all content aligns with Spotify's brand guidelines, legal requirements, and community standards.
- Manage content calendars and publishing schedules to maintain a consistent flow of fresh, relevant content.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for content creation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, InShot).
- Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for content distribution on TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for music and familiarity with the Spotify platform.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Knowledge of music industry trends and emerging artists.
- Previous experience managing social media accounts for a brand or public figure.
- Ability to perform on-camera for content, if comfortable.
