Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Fitness Content Pinterest Lead to join our marketing team. This role is crucial for expanding our reach and engagement on Pinterest, a key platform for health and wellness inspiration. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Pinterest content strategy, driving traffic, and building a strong community around fitness, nutrition, and healthy living.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic content plan specifically for Pinterest, aligning with MyFitnessPal’s overall marketing goals.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing pins, including static images, video pins, and Idea Pins, focused on fitness routines, healthy recipes, motivational content, and wellness tips.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize pin descriptions, titles, and boards for maximum discoverability and SEO on Pinterest.
- Analyze Pinterest performance data to identify trends, measure content effectiveness, and iterate on strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal content creators, designers, and social media managers to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the Pinterest content calendar and ensure timely execution of all initiatives.
- Monitor comments and messages, engaging with the Pinterest community to foster a positive and interactive environment.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience managing Pinterest for a brand, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proven ability to create engaging, high-performing visual content (graphic design skills a plus).
- Expertise in Pinterest analytics and reporting.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles specific to Pinterest.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep passion for health, fitness, and nutrition.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media platforms in a professional capacity.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends beyond Pinterest.
